My Students

The ability to use technology is important in the world today. Kindergarten students see technology all around them and need to be able to use it themselves.

Our school is in a rural area where many of my students do not have access to technology at home.

They come to my kindergarten class eager to learn and excited to have new experiences. My students need to be allowed to use current devices which offer them new and useful ways to learn.

My Project

I am requesting two iPad mini tablets to allow my students access to technology that is important in today's world. They will be able to use these tablets to "play" games that will help them practice and improve their skills in reading and mathematics. They will be used for listening to stories that also allow them to interact with the story through the use of the ipad touch screen. They can touch letters and words and hear them pronounced. They can touch pictures to make the stories come alive with movement. We will also use these ipads to take quizzes over stories as they learn to read themselves! My students need two Ipad mini tablets, protective cases for them and headphones.

Please help my kindergarten kids improve their technology and academic skills and encourage their enthusiasm for learning with the purchase of these two ipad mini tablet computers.
