This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have been impacted by Covid-19 because a lot of them didn't get a chance to go to daycare or preschool because of the pandemic. Because of this, my students didn't get a chance to interact with their peers or other children their age and my classroom is their first time in a setting with other children. My project includes lots of activities that will support my students in helping them learn how to play with each other. This will allow students to build relationships with each other and help them to enjoy school more. My project also includes activities to help students build their social emotional skills, which were definitely impacted by Covid-19. Because students haven't been in school before, they are still learning how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way. My project includes supplies that will support students in their social emotional learning, which will support their overall learning as well. Help me help my kindergarten students with their relationships and social emotional skills.
