Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a warm and friendly, place where students learn with hands-on activities. In language arts, we do read alouds and tie in math skills with different hands-on lessons. We do many science experiments to promote the development of scientific thinking.

In my kindergarten classroom, we are busy learning in a fun kinesthetic way.

Almost all of my students, come from low income homes and receive free lunches. I have an increased population of English as a Second language (ESL) students. All of my students would benefit from additional classroom supplies to help them learn.

My Project

An easel will take literacy to the next level by providing students an interactive tool that is eye level. Students can use this tool with me in a teacher-directed activity to work with letters, build words, write sentences, it can be used as an autonomous resource. This can even be turned into a center for students creative work. The possibilities are endless.

Having an easel will allow me to move anywhere in the classroom to educate my students in their learning.

This will allow me to get up close and personal with each table group and allow them to do their own individual activities based on their learning needs.
