My Students

I work in a small Title 1 school in Ozone Park, Queens. Since we are so small we don't always get as much funding as larger schools. We need it just as much

The kids are wonderful, and excited to learn!

Kindergarten children need a lot of visual support. They need colorful pictures to know what to do and where to go. The colorful visuals support their learning of new vocabulary and keep them interested in the work that is being presented.

My Project

As a first year Kindergarten teacher I found out that our newest learners really need so much printed out in visual form. Not only do they need visuals, but they need to be in color to get the attention of these little scholars.

Help our Kindergartens learn in full color!

My home printer has been burning the midnight oil...or the midnight ink. The problem is, without color printer access in the classroom I often can't get things printed when the kids need them. A teacher does a lot of work at home, but when you are putting things together in the classroom, you need the materials IN the classroom.
