My Students

My students are 5 and 6 years old with no filters, and they make me smile everyday. They are excited and mesmerized by learning new things. This year they grew plants from seeds. Seeing their little faces light up each day as they saw the growth of their work is one of the many reasons I love teaching.

My Project

Since I've been teaching kindergarten, I've wanted to buy a school set of cap and gowns to reuse each year. Unfortunately, it would cost about 1500.00 to cover all four kindergarten classes.

This year if we get these donations, we could get a picture of 10 students each day and then wash them to use with the next 10.

Due to Covid, we only get to see each student 2 days a week. We have 50 students in 4 different classes. So its going to be difficult to get all the pictures done before our graduation. But I would love to send home a cap and gown picture with each student at our drive thru graduation. If we get 10 cap and gowns, we are one step closer to a school set, and we would then have them for this year, next year and hopefully many more years to come.
