Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing and despite dealing with the after effects of Covid-19 they have been able to overcome and learn the materials they needed to succeed. My students are getting ready to leave kindergarten with the knowledge that they have acquired this year. These Hawaiian luau decorations and party favors are to show them that hard work and dedication pays off! I will be transforming my room into a tropical island for them to play with the games that are below as well as be able to take home a gift bag with small little favors inside. There will be food dancing games. I will be purchasing cookies, cake, chips, and food so that they can enjoy their final day of kindergarten! I want each of my students to feel appreciated and loved, and like they accomplish something worthwhile and this party I believe will help me do that.
