Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When you enter my kindergarten classroom, you will see students who have a passion for creativity. They can be found on the rug building sky scrapers with blocks; they can be found at the writing center writing notes to their family and friends; they can be found at the dramatic play area pretending to be community workers. One thing that is missing in my classroom is a Science Center. The STEM cart will be a perfect addition to my classroom for Science and Engineering.

I want my students to be engineers!

With the STEM cart, they will have various tools to become problem solvers. They will be able to engineer roller coasters and experiment with magnets. They will also be able to plan and revise their own designs.
