My Project

My students have worked so hard this year and have grown as readers, writers, mathematicians and so much more! My classroom is truly a classroom family. It is so hard to believe that the end of this year is near and so it is time to celebrate all of their growth!!

At the end of May, we will have a Kindergarten Celebration where students perform a program for their families and we will celebrate growth and academic success throughout this school year.

This project will provide each of my students their own copy of a book, end of year gifts and end of year celebration decorations. Our end of the year celebration is a special day for students and families. To help make this a special day, I will use the balloon arch and table cloths to decorate the classroom and provide a place pictures. At this celebration, students earn kindergarten diplomas and awards based on character and academic success. I am excited to celebrate each one of my students and I want to also provide them with items as rewards for their success and provide them items to use throughout the summer. One of my favorite gifts to give my students is a book! It is so important to continue to read over the summer and how special it would be to provide them with "First Grade, Here I Come!" I know this book will not only help get them excited about first grade but give them a book to read at home with their grown ups! Lastly the beach pails and pool toys are a fun reward for each student to receive for their hard work this year!
