This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project seeks to provide diverse books for young learners, aiming to foster a love of reading and promote family engagement. By offering diverse books, we ensure that children see their own cultures and experiences reflected in the stories they read, which helps them feel valued and inspired.

By contributing to our project, you will help create an inclusive learning environment where children are excited about reading, and families are empowered to play an active role in their child's education!

When children bring books home, it opens opportunities for parents and caregivers to be involved in their children's learning journey. These books help create meaningful interactions that build literacy skills and strengthen family bonds. For many families, this is a rare chance to engage in their children's education, especially in communities with limited access to resources.
