Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These math and reading puzzles/games will help motivate my students during centers time.

I currently do not have enough learning games for all of my students to use during centers time.

The CVC puzzles will help my students become better readers. Students can practice reading and blending words.

The math puzzles will help my students practice identifying numbers, add and subtract, and support their counting. The magnetic tiles will help students practice their shapes and can also be used for counting.

My goal for this project is for students to have centers time with fun learning games. These games will create an opportunity for students to practice their math and reading skills independently. Hands on activities help younger students learn. They love to play and this is a great way for students to have fun with math and reading.

My students are special because they all want to grow and show their learning in different ways. My students love to help each other when they are stuck on a question. I love seeing their kindness and teamwork.
