Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working hard every day at learning their colors, letters, shapes, numbers, and more. The toys I am requesting will make a difference in my students lives in ways you cannot imagine.

I believe young students learn through play, the goal is to allow all students in the classroom a variety of items to choose from to help them refocus and increase productivity.

Hands on materials like Magna-Tiles, Playdoh, and blocks can make a difference for all children by allowing them to have some personal time with sensory toys. Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. It helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills.
