This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During covid, rugs were removed from classroom spaces to comply with social distancing guidelines. Now that we are getting back to normal, I would love to give my students back their rug!

Classroom rugs are essential meeting spaces where we learn together.

They foster classroom community, collaboration and discussion. They are colorful, warm and inviting, and they give children a chance to get up and move around the classroom so they are not sitting at their desks all day. Kindergartners need this! Please help my students the classroom they deserve!
