Help me give my students this carpet that they can sit on while enjoying whole group instruction and literacy centers. My students love to move around the room and have comfy places to work and learn.
The carpet that I am asking for would be used all throughout the school day by the young students in my kindergarten class. Some of the many uses would be for morning meetings, literacy & math instruction, phonics games, hands-on center time, and when we have guest readers come to our room. The carpet that is currently in our classroom was passed down to me 8 years ago and has seen better days. The students in my classroom are so dear and arrive each day happy to see their peers and find out what we will be learning. They are so full of excitement and curiosity. I believe that my students deserve to have a welcoming and beautiful learning environment. It is my hope that this carpet would help to make that possible.
