My Students

My students are energetic, joyful, and ready to learn! Kindergarten is where many children are exposed to content for the first time, it is a cornerstone in my students' education. Having Special Needs makes learning even more challenging when dealing with new materials. My students love bright colors, adventures, and games. Centers would allow them to explore content without fear, all while having fun learning! Centers would allow them to navigate content on their terms. My students are ready to learn, explore, and master new topics this year!

My Project

Learning can seem overwhelming for students with disabilities, especially when they struggle with initial concepts. Introducing games is a way to invite students to learn without the fear of failing. Students will be able to focus on phonemic awareness, decoding and word recognition, and reading comprehension. While building self-esteem students can feel ready to tackle learning in the traditional way. Center games will allow students to concentrate their attention, build their social skills, and increase language and math skills. Learning centers are an exciting way to build students’ skills sets in a variety of content areas. When learning is fun it is accessible to everyone!
