My Project

Many of my students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not have access to educational resources at home. They are excited to do fun and engaging centers each day during small group time. These activities and games will help develop their skills in beginning sounds, word segmenting, and blending, as well as number recognition and counting.

As specific skills are taught during my phonics and math lessons, I would like to reinforce them by having the students practice using these fun and engaging activities during centers.

It will also give the students more variety of activities to use for skill reinforcement.
