My Project

Kindergarten is a year of excitement, exploration, learning, and making friends. Most of this takes place at carpet time. We spend some of our best moments at morning meeting learning about social/emotional and communicating with one another.

Having a classroom rug that all students can fit on would add to the welcoming environment and comfort of the children during our learning environment.

Our students participate in an amazing literacy curriculum and we teach this with them at the “carpet”. Allowing students to be comfortable during their literacy and reading time is imperative and something we don’t want to overlook the importance of in a classroom.
