Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is important for my students. My students come diverse backgrounds and have even more diverse needs. For most this is their first experience in a school setting.

The puzzles I chose foster math and literacy skills, and more importantly do so in a cooperative way!

Kids love to spread out on the floor and get busy with their friends!

The boards/markers are a great way to reinforce the skills that we are learning in an individual way. As I model writing, students can practice on their own. The boards provide a meaningful way for them to practice and then show me their work!
