Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love computer time. We get to go to the computer lab twice a month for about an hour and they love every minute of it. They would benefit greatly if they would be expose to technology daily during group time.

My students are wonderful and enthusiastic children.

I wish nothing but the best for them. They are always happy regardless of all the disadvantages they have encountered due to their socioeconomic status. In their everyday life they encounter gangs, graffiti, police helicopters hovering over their houses, and so much more.

My Project

My students will benefit greatly from laptops and iPads. I would be able to expose a small group of students to literacy through technology. My students will be able to work on projects. They will also be able to watch educational programs. I will be able to take attendance in front of them instead from across the room. I will also be able to monitor their progress with more ease. I will be able to use the Language Arts and Math programs online resources that make lessons more interesting and interactive.

Please help me give my students the opportunity to experience the wonderful things technology can provide from Google to learning applications.

I also want my students to be expose and be comfortable with different types of technology. Their socioeconomic status might deprive them of many things but with your generous donations they can explore and be expose to learning through technology.
