This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

By the end of the year, I want my students to be able to use STEM across the curriculum successfully in my classroom.

In my classroom, there are 19 wonderful Kindergarten students.

They are so eager to learn and have fun while doing it! My school is qualified for a free breakfast program and 75% of the students qualify for free/reduced price lunch. We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so we want to make sure every student is fed, so their brain is ready to learn!

My Project

I am getting my masters in STEM education for grades K-8. I am doing an action research project that includes the students learning about weather patterns and seasons. This kit will provide the students with a great experience to learn what STEM is and all about weather and seasons.

This kit will improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with the students in my classroom.

They will get a more hands-on approach to learning this concept of weather and patterns. It is important that my students receive the best teaching and learning, and I think this kit will help them with this goal!
