Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are young little learners experiencing school for possibly the first time. They are curious about the world around them and can make anyone light up when they begin to understand it.

Students in this class are from various backgrounds, many of whom have not been in school before and due to the pandemic, have still not been able to experience the excitement of classroom experiences with new supplies and/or activities.

My Project

Using more creative supplies is a great way to return to the second half of the school year in a new calendar year.

Replenishing school supplies is a great way to encourage students to continue being creative and responsible.

Adding the watercolor paints allows for creative projects to take place and provides another means of hands-on learning to students who are otherwise not exposed to other mediums of art. It is also important to lessen our impact on the environment by continuing to use materials that are dry erase such as the dry erase pockets. Students will really enjoy having more artistic options for a greater magnitude of creativity in their work and the reusability of the dry erase pockets in the classroom.
