Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten students learn best through lived experiences and play. I am requesting tools that will help them understand difficult weather concepts like temperature, air pressure and wind velocity.

Students will be able to use thermometers to explore temperature and fans to explore wind speeds.Students will be able to use the kits and pinwheels to engage with the content in a playful way.

They will also use their play office props to continue to build our very own classroom weather station and become little meteorologists that investigate weather concepts every day.
