Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Try your very best!" This is what I remind my students every day. My classes are integrated co-teaching classes made up of students with disabilities, English language learners, and gifted students. Our school is a Title I school located in a low-income, high need area, but that doesn't stop my students from doing the best they can. My students are a group of wonderful and curious kindergartners that love to learn. I wish I was able to provide them with all of the great resources out there to help them become better students.

My Project

I am requesting a Cricut Maker 3 and accessories to help make my kindergarteners creative and our classroom a welcoming environment. With the Cricut Maker 3 we can make bulletin boards, create learning materials, and make personalized incentives as rewards.

Because I am a special education teacher, I often have to create personalized reward charts and incentives for my students.

The Cricut will help my create something really personalized and exciting for them. I can also use the Cricut to create differentiated learning games and materials to support math and reading instruction. In addition, the cricut can also be used to label bins, cubbies and anything else to help create an organized space.
