Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! They are funny, caring, loving, energetic and just so excited to be at school. They walk through the door every day so eager to learn and be challenged! Being from Miami, my students come from diverse backgrounds and some don't have much exposure to technology.

Times have changed, and so has the way children learn.

With all the advancement in technology, it is vital that students, even at an early age, have the opportunity to learn using the newest technology available.

These students are our future and we must provide these students with any and all opportunities to excel! My students will benefit from this technology not only this year, but for years to follow.

My Project

My classroom already has a technology center; however, we are just missing the technology part! These laptops and iPads will provide my students the opportunity to work independently during reading and math centers using various educational programs.

This technology will allow my students to become more engaged and interact with the modern world around them.

The students will get to practice daily lessons, work on independent reading, practice their phonics and letter recognition, as well as play with educational apps. The children will be so excited to be using the laptops and iPads, they won't even notice they are working.
