This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My school is a Dual Immersion school that serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

As a result, we are consistently one of the high performing schools in the district each year .

My Project

I am asking for five sets of Natural-Bristle Paintbrushes, two gallons of turquoise liquid tempera paint and two packs of Classroom Paintbrushes. The materials I am asking for will help my students to continue creating beautiful artwork. The paintbrushes that we currently use are almost 20 years old.

There is no budget for art materials such as paintbrushes at my school site.

The new materials will allow my students to create their works of art with tools that are not falling apart. It is important to keep the arts alive in my classroom. My students learn about the great art masters in history. They learn about their history and the techniques they used in their masterpieces. My students are very excited about learning and creating art.
