Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my class are very creative and love to work and help other students. By creating stores in our room, my students sell these party favors and toys to other students in our school. All students buy in our stores with play money, which is given to the students by their teachers as incentive for good behavior , and rewards for their good academic performance.

Students in my class work as store owners selling their goods to all students in school.

The stores made by my students have store names, slogans, and logos that identify their business. Each group is managed by the store manager who oversees that all students have a schedule for work, and lunch time as well. My students get their money since I pay them by the hour for their services at the stores. All students love to come and purchase at our stores every year since they walk out with toys and party favors they bought with money they earned in class. Students learn to manage their money, as well as to deal with the public as they manage the store.
