My Project

These title I students have been struggling with malfunctioning equipment. Kids have trouble with fractions and these calculators are great for teaching this! They can enter mixed numbers and numerator/denominator and can even divide a fraction by a fraction, so the students can really see what they put in the calculator is what they're trying to calculate. Traditional calculators don't display information nearly as clearly and can lead to much misunderstanding and frustration. These are not the expensive graphing calculators; for graphing, we use computers. But, for quick calculations without the distraction of technology, especially for enabling students to learn fractions much better than any other calculation tool, these are a game changer!
