Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Nearly all of my students come from lower socioeconomic families. They attend a Title I school and struggle with the bonds of poverty. Many of them belong to families that can barely afford the basic needs of food, housing, and clothing.

Despite their disadvantages, my students are extremely enthusiastic about learning and achieving academic success.

They are aware of the power of reading. Their eagerness to improve is unique. They are always asking for guidance in reaching their goals. My students are undoubtedly rich in the desire to achieve.

My Project

To be engaged, children need to do what they love the most: Play. In their workstations, my students love playing all types of educational games that are carefully prepared to transform their daily routine into a fun and enjoyable learning experience. However, the manual spinners and rolling dice that they currently use are becoming obsolete in a society characterized by constant technological evolution.

By favoring my students with your generosity, you are not giving them only electronic buzzers to spark the excitement of their educational games, but rather hours of excitement at school, that will last in their memories for the rest of their lives.

I have devotedly created their workstations, But I cannot wait to see the joy in their face when a flashing light tells them who will be the first one to start "playing." I cannot wait to see those smiles when a magic ring bell lets them know that their effort is worth it.
