My Students

My students are the most loving, wise, cute and expressive little people that you will ever encounter. My students are very inquisitive and always want to dive deeper into the whys of the world. If they cannot feel, hear, touch, smell, and or see something to prove a point then they believe it is not possible or will not happen. Some of my students have other needs and require a little more attention than others but, they do not let their disabilities of any kind be an inability to them learning. They are exceptional students who make me the exceptional education teacher I am.

My Project

For the past year my students have been confined to their homes and computers because of virtual learning during the pandemic. Once upon a time computers were seen as a fun and limited resource or play item to them. Now, the computer is their daily life and they have become chained to it. My students are in need of some socialization, fun and games, laughter and play again. During some of our reading lessons we write and draw about the things we enjoy doing outside on a sunny day. If this project is funded it will provide my students with board and card games that they can play together and work on their socialization skills and team building. If this project is funded it will also provide them with the equipment to play outside and get back to enjoying their peers company. Some of my students have disabilities and they are required time to build and work on their social skills. Having these items available for them to play and use will assist me with meeting their goals and objectives in social skills. Last but not least, my kids just wanna have fun again.
