Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students enjoy coming to school. Unfortunately they cannot drink water from the water fountain in the classroom and must go outside to access filtered water from one of only a few fountains shared by the whole school. Having a water bottle would allow them fill it and have it on hand in the classroom.

In addition, my students have to play on asphalt in the sun with limited shade.

Having a sun hat would help protect them from the sun when they go outside to play during recess and lunch.

A hat and a water bottle would make all the difference to my students' health and well-being.
