My students are extremely inquisitive and all hands-on. They enjoy learning about different topics, but mostly science topics. They love experimenting and finding solutions to problems. We do ask for donations, but with the economics and different social classes we don't get much. Our students do work hard and deserve these supplies and much more, to help them along. They enjoy art, as much as science, and love creating on paper. We encourage them to use a variety of materials.
My Project
This year has been one heck of a year to say the least. This blended learning did not work for my group. They need the social-emotional learning that they are so desperately missing. This year parents weren't able to donate anything because of job loss due to the pandemic. These supplies will help them have that. Most of these kids come from lower income families and aren't able to have supplies. I would be sending some supplies home. The supplies will be able to work creatively with the students. My class will be able to create art projects with the supplies. They will be able to be proud of their art work. Also we have no outdoor space to play and they are forced to play in a small space. These balls will help with gross motor.
