This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is no surprise that kiddos are expensive. Each year I head back to school to inventory all the supplies I have left from the previous year while taking note of what I anticipate needing more of. I headed back to work last week to realize that we will definitely be in need of some more supplies than I originally anticipated. It still blows my mind how much we actually use in a school year, but that just means we are learning!

I am so excited about this school year!

I got the pleasure of meeting some of our future kindergarteners during our Kinder Camp session and they are a very creative bunch. If this is any indication of what the year will look like, then I for sure have my hands full!

We are going to need Kleenex, crayons, pencils, dry erase markers, and all that good stuff! My students love to use me as a human Kleenex so those will definitely come in handy as we all adjust to new germs this school year. The kids also spend a lot of time using crayons and pencils throughout the whole year. We do arts and crafts at the beginning of the year where we make letter crafts. The dry erase markers come in extremely handy when we practice tracing letters, numbers, and our names.
