My Project

I am a Kindergarten special education teacher working in a low-income area. I can best employ small-group instruction with my students with disabilities using a kidney table. However, my school cannot provide me with additional furniture to use in my classroom.

With a kidney table, I can pull small groups of eager learners to help them work toward their IEP goals and other ability-based academic skills.

For instance, I would use this table to conduct instruction in guided reading, phonics, and math.

A kidney table is an ideal workspace for constructing small-group instruction in an early childhood setting. Using this table in my classroom will help my students develop into bright scholars and demonstrate their academic success.
