My Students

I teach 24 enthusiastic Kindergarten students. It is the first classroom experience for many of my students. My students are at an age where art, movement, and dramatic play are the most meaningful and exciting times of the day. We will be returning to In-person learning after learning virtually for almost 7 1/2 months. I will need to update some materials to encourage students to keep safe distances while in class. My students come from many different cultural backgrounds. Some of my students are from low-income families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, some have special needs and have an Individualized Education Plan, and others are second language learners. This diverse group of learners are eager to come to school for the first time and I can't wait to welcome them!

My Project

My kindergarten students have been learning remotely from home since the beginning of the school year.

We plan to return to school in April and our classroom needs an upgrade!

There’s no limit to what our class can do with the versatile activity mats! They are perfect for use indoors or out, but will be used mainly to promote social distancing when entering the room. The shapes will also allow the students to stand far enough apart when doing brain breaks when we need to get our wiggles out.

The Clipboards are designed especially for kids! The sturdy, lightweight clipboards have a safe, easy-press clip that makes it a easy to add and remove paper! The clipboards will help keep papers organized and will help keep them from getting away from us if there is a breeze when the door is open.
