Kid Composers Create Great Music!

Help me give my students the opportunity to compose their own music and movies using GarageBand and iMovie on the iPad and then play their music in surround sound for their peers in class.

My Students

I teach at an amazing school full of diversity. We have over seven hundred students and over one hundred are English as a second language students. One hundred are Advanced Program students, along with robust regular education and special needs programs. We are a fantastic school full of compassionate staff and students who want to make a positive difference in our community. I teach music to all students in the school with a focus on performance-based lessons that keep students actively engaged and creating music daily. I also incorporate technology through project-based learning which allows students to compose their own music, make professional recordings and create their own music videos. I am blessed and grateful to teach all of our incredible students!

My Project

Students in music class love to create and perform! This iPad will give them the opportunity to use fantastic music and video creation apps like Garage Band and iMovie to compose their own music and videos. The bluetooth speakers will allow students to proudly share their creations and compositions with the class in surround sound! This is an exciting way for students to use what they learn in music class to create something they can share with their peers and the world. The protective case will ensure we can use this great equipment for years to come.
