Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, imaginative, and eager to learn. We are a Title-1 school in a low-income urban community. Many of my students rely on being in school to receive the resources that they need to learn and the social-emotional outlets that they need to express themselves and manage their feelings. My wonderful and energetic class is filled with Kindergartners who are experiencing school for the first time during these difficult times.

My Project

These schools supplies will help my Kindergarten students learn to write and draw safely by having their own supplies to transfer from the classroom to home. This will make a difference in their learning because they will have the necessary materials for learning at school and home.

It is important for Kindergarten students to learn the safety of not sharing supplies during COVID-19.

The students will be able to store their materials in the storage box for during the day and it will be their individual supplies for nobody else to touch except them.
