This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are learning valuable life skills in their leadership class. They are currently working on a Sellable Skills Project that showcases skills they already possess that can help them become entrepreneurs today! Through a cross-curricular mix of economics, financial literacy, business, and public speaking lesson lessons, students have identified their skills and talents that have earning potential; researched business models; learned the basics of branding, marketing, and selling; and are preparing to present the business they have developed to our school community.

The presentation aids I am requesting will promote professional presentations, which will increase students' confidence and self-esteem when showcasing their work in front of others.

Students will use the trifolds to display their entrepreneurial blueprints, branding, and marketing materials. The sign holders will hold their student-crafted flyers. Adding these vertical elements to their table displays will help to draw attention and generate interest in their businesses. I am also requesting the Avery printable business cards. Students have designed their business cards and are ready to print and distribute them. These business card sheets will allow for a convenient, cost-effective way for students to make their personalized brand a reality. The post-its are an essential piece of the entrepreneurial blueprint process. Presentation is everything, and I know that these visual aids will enhance the look and ultimately elevate student presentations!
