My Project

My students have been enjoying learning piano in class, writing their own songs, and exploring their musical abilities!

This project would provide my students with a wide variety of piano books that they could work through at their own pace!

This would deepen their engagement and also help them to learn at their level in their own time. Students who already have piano skills can use the intermediate books to learn new songs. Students who are just beginning will use the beginner books to learn the foundations.

Along with helping with music literacy, these books would also help my students to practice their reading skills. Many of these books are in a comic book format, so students would be reading while they learn piano! In addition, this project would get us a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers, where I could buy additional piano and music worksheets, songs, games, and activities. Having these resources would be so great for my students!
