My Students

"A grape bunch!" What a fitting description for my students! Having taught them this last year in the fourth grade, I am delighted to have them back again for their final year in elementary school. My students are defined by the effort they give each and every day.

This past year they have shown their willingness and determination to overcome challenges borne of their disabilities, to achieve wonderful academic success.

I could not be prouder of their results.

One of the things that is most admirable about my students is their generosity, their willingness to share and help one another. I have seen them carrying one another's bags, sharing their lunches encouraging one another when the work gets more intense and engaging in great peer activities. Their passion for learning positively impacts mine for teaching. Nothing makes me happier than to see my "grape bunch" enthusiastic about learning.

My Project

Fitness trackers and Infusion bottles will be the start of something grand for my students. I am requesting a second set so that each of my twelve students may benefit from these wonderful gifts. Each needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle and as their teacher I need to as well.

It is essential for me as well as my students to be fully engaged in the teaching and learning process; hence our bodies and minds must be totally in sync.

Infusion bottles will encourage us to include fruit and vegetables in our daily diets while Fitbits will promote physical conditioning.
