Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a low-income school in Homestead, Florida. My classroom is multicultural. Many of my students face many challenges on a daily basis. Most of my students come from homes where English is not their primary language. Others lack the basic needs that children need in order to succeed in school.

My third graders are invincible!

Even though there are many factors that can keep them from being successful, they come to school ready to fight the everyday struggles of life. They are brave and strong!

My Project

My students use the iPad to explore, research, and use digital programs. The iPad keyboard will increase the iPad capabilities by allowing the iPad to have more functions.

The iPad keyboard will allow my students to experiment with technology with the flexibility to use the iPad anywhere in the classroom.

The iPad keyboard will also give my students more opportunities to work individually or collaboratively on various projects and programs. This will give my students hands-on experiences. This piece of technology will give the iPad the features of a laptop with the innovative technology that the iPad has to offer.
