My Students

Kester Elementary is a school full of multicultural students who are a mixture of ELD, special needs, and gifted students. They are eager students who are ready to learn and try their best.

More than half of our students come from low-income families who cannot provide them with the resources they need to help give their children the best education possible.

These students are the ones on the free or reduced-price lunch list.

My Project

Kester Elementary needs your help! We have started a new thing on campus called "Kester Cougar Kids News". This gives 4th and 5th grade students the opportunity to be reports on our weekly recordings which will be shared every Monday with the entire school. Each week we plan to have a different group of 4th and 5th grade students to broadcast the news to maximize the number of participants from each class.

We will have four kids report each week broadcasting the flag salute, weekly weather, Kester events, and Kester tips/advice.

We will rotate the recordings by class every few weeks. We have already recorded our first week and it was AMAZING! The children had a blast recording, the entire school will see the video on Monday, 10/11.

Please help us get the equipment we need to make sure we can continue to carry out our weekly broadcasting for the rest of the year. This material will be kept on campus for many more years to come. This will be impossible without the help of our community. We appreciate your support!
