Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students vary from K to 2nd grade and any k to 8 who is bilingual. They have various delays or disorders including but not limited to language, articulation, Autism, intellectual, hearing, phonological, and/or learning challenges.
Their learning capacity grows each time they are introduced to motivational and dynamic tools.
As long as they are set up for success and know the best is expected we sit back and wait for them to amaze us by surpassing our expectations. They’re awesome.
My Project
The children I serve have various speech and language needs. We work on listening to sounds, listening to directions, listening to stories, and listening to questions in order to understand what is expected of them in the classroom and throughout various academic settings.
Setting children with speech and language needs for success by hearing clear and precise instructions is basic.
Augmenting my voice with the voice amplifier can help. This is true especially when we all wear the masks to abide to the recent health mandates. Would you help my students to hear loud and clear?
