This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the school year almost being over, I am trying my best to continue to keep my classroom organized. Having floor spot markers will help my students that are visual learners know where to stand in order to rotate from center to center. Play-doh equals hands-on activities.

Being able to use Play-doh to make letters, numbers, shapes and teaching them how to share with others, makes their academics fun and engaging.

My students use Play-doh for different activities on a daily basis. In addition, Play-doh helps some of my students with their sensory needs. For example, using Play-doh can be very soothing.

As mentioned above many of my students are visual leaners and/or communicate using visuals. Several students need their own daily schedule. Laminating their schedule and visuals will help my students communicate better and it will help their schedules last longer.
