Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A lot happens during a school day. Transitions, learning, ever changing emotions, community building and more.

Our students thrive in a learning community that is well prepared for all their needs.

We are trying our best to ensure a clean and safe learning environment as much as we can this year. With that being said, Clorox wipes are a teacher and students' best friend. We clean our desks and any used surfaces daily to help mitigate the passing of germs in class. Additionally, we are hoping to truly continue to build and create learning spaces that are accommodating to all students needs socially and emotionally. We are hoping to use the fidgets as calming tools to help students in times of need in order to refocus their minds and emotions to continue learning.

Lastly, headphones are an essential component of our students learning experience. Students use headphones to listen to audio recordings of books, watch videos, engage in applications, or as part of their testing accommodations. Many of our headphones have seen better days and are showing wear and tear that is beyond repair. These new headphones will help in replacing the many of ours that are ready for retirement.
