My Project

These books will enrich our collection at school. Each day, students take their current reading book to their "office" which is a special spot throughout the room that is used each day for reading. Some students sit at desks, some at tables, and some on the floor in the spot designated just for them. This creates an environment where they can focus on their reading.

One of the most exciting things to hear as a teacher is, "Do you have the next book?" This is the best example of kids who are enjoying their book and are excited to keep reading.

Some of the books that are most popular at school are graphic novels. The Squish and InvestiGators books will be a welcomed addition to our collection of graphic novels. Many students have read books 1-10 in the Kingdom of Wrenly so books 11-18 will be welcomed by our fantasy readers. Fourth grade students will soon be embarking on an adventure through historical fiction so When the World was Ours will be used.
