Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are all very motivated and ready to take on any challenge! They stay after school on days we don't have practice and are fully committed on the days that we do. Each girl is special in their own way and truly represents what it means to be a team player. They all care for each other and show respect towards everyone. Each girl has something special to offer, whether it is helping another one with technique or making sure their teammate feels included.

These girls are all so passionate about playing sports and put their all into every practice.

They are so excited to be able to participate in Volleyball again this year and the enthusiasm shows. These students deserve to have beautiful new equipment to work with. If our project is funded we will use the volleyballs for our weekly practices as well as warming up for our games. The bag net will also be used to assist me with traveling from our school to our games on other campuses. Some of our students also will need assistance with buying parts for their uniforms, so the extra knee pads will come in handy if some of my girls cannot provide their own. This will bring them so much pride and excitement on and off the court! I’m so proud of the team and hope to have another successful year coaching these wonderful young ladies through a new season.
