My Students

I teach in a very diverse school district near the city of Harrisburg. My students come from all backgrounds. I have 19 in school students and 2 at home learners. My second graders will need to play independently because of COVID. I’d like to purchase Skip-It jumping ropes, regular jump ropes, a set of kickballs that I will clean and rotate each day. All of these supplies will be kept in individual backpacks to keep the supplies separated. The backpacks may also go home on weekends and breaks. I used the backpacks last year and they were very successful. They brought a lot of smiles.

My Project

I am requesting various recess supplies and string backpacks. My students will use these materials during their recess time. They will need to socially distance during recess again this year and these materials will be fun and give them something to do while keeping them active. I used them last year with my second graders. The children loved their Skip Its, jump ropes, and personal backpacks. The materials lasted all year. The children were able to take them home on breaks and use them. At the end of the year each student happily took home their materials to keep.
