My Students

I am the movement teacher in a new Pre-K Center in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. For many of my students, this is their first time in a school setting and I want to foster an environment of curiosity, creativity, movement, and fun!

Through the use of multiple​ stations incorporating different materials, my goal is for these little ones to develop a love for learning through collaboration and creative movement that will follow them for years to come!

My Project

As most of you know, this is my first year in pre-k in a brand new building. With the help of DonorsChoose (and many of you!),​ I've spent the first half of the year creating and purchasing materials to make the year a fun and unique one for our little learners! We are entering the spring, and I want to continue to keep my movement room fresh and new with exciting new activities for the kids. If funded, my project will give the students a trampoline, a golf set, and various lights and glow in the dark materials for our upcoming "Light" unit and upcoming performances.
