Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an incredible group of students in New Jersey who are full of energy, determination, and a passion for learning. Many of them face daily challenges beyond the classroom, but they show up eager to grow and succeed. They inspire me every day with their resilience and dedication.
This project will provide essential warmth and care materials, including leotards for our dance students and athletic wear for our student-athletes.
Many of our students do not have access to proper attire, which can make participation difficult. By ensuring they have the right clothing, we are giving them the opportunity to fully engage in physical activities that promote confidence, teamwork, and well-being.
Our goal is to remove barriers to participation, ensuring every student feels comfortable and prepared, whether in the dance studio or on the court. Having the right attire will allow them to focus on their growth, movement, and expression without worrying about what they don’t have.
My students are special because they are dedicated, hardworking, and always striving for excellence despite obstacles. This project will help them continue their journey with dignity, confidence, and the support they deserve. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
