My Students

The students I serve each day come to our school facing a variety of challenges. Living in the most dangerous section of our capital city, these children have been faced with hardships in their eight years that many could not imagine in a lifetime.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" -Nelson Mandela.

This quote perfectly describes my efforts as I push my students to persevere through their challenges, to the success that lies ahead of them.

My Project

These materials will fund the kick off of our levels behavior system for the year. The toys, food, and supplies found in this project will allow my new first and second graders the opportunity to learn the value in high bar behavior throughout their day.

By donating to this cause, you are helping scholars learn the value of accountability of their actions, rewards for good choices, and the sweet taste of success when you work hard.

These items will fun the personal store I run out of my classroom each Friday, where students shop for items based on the points they have earned throughout the week.
