This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of energy. They work hard every day, pushing themselves to improve their technique and express themselves through movement. However, the cold can be a major obstacle, making it difficult for them to focus, move freely, and stay safe.
This project will provide warm dance outfits to keep them comfortable and protected during rehearsals and performances.
Proper attire is essential—not just for warmth but also for preventing injuries caused by stiff, cold muscles. When students feel comfortable, they can fully engage in learning choreography, refining their skills, and building confidence.
My goal is to ensure that every student, regardless of their circumstances, has the warmth and support they need to succeed in dance. These students are special because they bring so much heart to everything they do. Their determination, teamwork, and creativity inspire me every day, and I want to give them every opportunity to thrive.
